Density and Storey Heights
The site is structured into a series of density bands and storey heights. The most dense part of the site will be in its central component with buildings potentially up to four storeys, whilst the lowest density will be on its western interface with the open countryside (two storey height).
Character Areas
Four different Character Areas are proposed as part of the Mildenhall Masterplan. Each will have its own distinctive identity which will be founded upon a predominance of certain features including architectural details and storey heights.
These zones – elaborated on pages 70-87 – are illustrated below.
